Ingredients

  • 4 cups vanilla pudding prepared and chilled
  • 3 medium ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 cup crushed cookies graham crackers or digestive biscuits work well

Equipment

  • Glass jars or trifle dish
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Spoon or Spatula

Method

  1. Layer a few spoonfuls of vanilla pudding at the bottom of each glass jar or bowl, creating an even base.
  2. Add a layer of sliced bananas over the pudding, distributing them evenly so they cover the surface.
  3. Sprinkle a handful of crushed cookies over the banana layer, adding a crunchy texture to each spoonful.
  4. Repeat the layering process—pudding, bananas, cookies—until the containers are filled, finishing with a cookie layer on top for a crisp finish.
  5. Press down gently on each layer with the back of a spoon to compact the layers slightly and help them settle.
  6. Set the assembled trifles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the pudding to firm up slightly.
  7. Garnish with additional banana slices or crushed cookies if desired, just before serving for a fresh finishing touch.

Notes

Make sure to chill the pudding ahead of time for best results. Feel free to customize with nuts or drizzle caramel for extra flavor.
