Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the slider buns on a baking sheet to toast lightly for about 5 minutes until golden and fragrant. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with hot sauce, melted butter, smoked paprika, and honey. Mix everything thoroughly until the chicken is evenly coated and feels slightly sticky.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the coated chicken mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8-10 minutes until the chicken is heated through and begins to develop a slight crisp on the edges. The sauce should thicken and become glossy.
- While the chicken is finishing, slice the toasted slider buns in half horizontally to create top and bottom halves.
- Once the chicken is ready, carefully spoon a generous amount onto the bottom halves of the buns, distributing evenly. The chicken should look saucy, sticky, and vibrant with color.
- Top each slider with the upper bun halves, pressing gently to help the flavors meld. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of ranch or blue cheese dressing before serving. You can also garnish with chopped green onions or celery for added crunch.
