  1. Slice the peaches and place them in the blender jar, ensuring they are evenly distributed for smooth blending.
  2. Roll the lemon on the counter to loosen the juice, then cut it in half and juice it into a small bowl, removing any seeds. Grate the lemon zest and add it to the blender.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice and zest to the peaches in the blender, along with the honey or syrup for a touch of sweetness.
  4. Pour in the ice cubes, which will help create the slushy texture and keep the drink cold.
  5. Secure the lid on the blender and blend everything on high until the mixture is smooth, thickened, and frosty, about 30-45 seconds. Look for a vibrant, slightly chunky texture with no large ice pieces.
  6. Taste the slush and adjust sweetness if needed, blending briefly to incorporate any additional honey or syrup.
